GovMate is a youth led civic organization with the mission to make politics, history, and action more understandable, accessible, and practical. We firmly believe that civic education and legal knowledge should not be withheld from the general public or overly confusing. Furthermore, we belief as youth it is especially important to voice our causes externally since we are unable to directly vote. 

​At GovMate we know a voice cannot be involved unless it is informed. And thus it is our mission to inform as many people as possible such that they ignite change in their communities. Everything we create is designed by young people, for young people. As youth we refuse to be mere observers of the political process, but participants, advocates, and future leaders. Together as an organization, we're changing the cycle of generations that simply watch history, by creating one that write's it.
